Prospectus is excited to be working with the International Bar Association, Human Rights Institute to recruit for a Development Co-ordinator to work a job share 17.5 hours a week spread over 3 days (50% full time). This role will be responsible for prospect researching new sources of funding, looking after existing partners and applying for funds, particularly from institutional donors, to continue the great work of the organisation.

This position is offered as a maternity cover contract paying £30,000 pro rata to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and based in their head office near Chancery Lane.

This position's focus will be on the development of funding streams from UK and international trusts, foundations and institutional donors. You will undertake research into the funding landscape for opportunities to fund the international human rights accountability work that they do. You will develop concept notes and full project proposals covering technical narratives, logical frameworks and budgets in-collaboration with the Director, Deputy Director and Programme Lawyers. Additional tasks will include producing funding analysis, monitoring and evaluating the programmes and performing some administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrable experience of grant writing and a track record of success in funding projects. If you also have some project administration experience in the NGO/charitable sector that would be beneficial to the application. A detailed knowledge of international human rights would be an advantage in the role.
