Scope of work:
Project Officer MENA (PO MENA) will work to ensure the smooth running of Integrity’s MENA operations by providing logistical and administrative support to all aspects of the project cycle (identification, proposal development, recruitment, implementation and close down) as well as briefing, in-person coverage, editing and drafting. PO MENA will work closely with the Operations Officer (OO) MENA on both project and logistical support, and both should have a thorough understanding of each other’s work.
Terms of Reference:
A. Project Delivery Support (50%)
Maintaining a detailed overview of all planned and actual MENA project work. Brief Integrity’s management on MENA work as required.
- Contributing to report drafting, editing and formatting. Quality assurance of select written deliverables. Research support on specific projects.
- Logistical: Ensuring the smooth deployment of staff, consultants and resources through the procurement of flights, visas, letters of entry, consultant deployment checklists and movement of funds.
- Administrative: Maintaining the electronic project code list (on Podio), all project entries and managing specific Podio workspaces. Maintaining streamlined and well- organised electronic project folders on Dropbox.
- Consultant management: Manage consultant contracts, track delivery time and collate timesheets across MENA projects. Liaise with consultants and clients to prepare and process timesheets and invoices.
- Support the financial administration of MENA projects.
- Provide in-person support to project teams through visits to different country offices and project sites.
B. Project Development Support (30%)
PO MENA will provide high quality support to project development in the MENA region:
- Substantial input on project proposals, including liaison with consortium partners, background research, drafting and budget design.
- Liaise with the Operations Manager HQ and Deputy Director of Operations in London to produce project risk management assessments.
- Assist with research into and preparation of project financial proposals.
- Identify, interview and select regional experts and consultants for project teams, managing the relationships across multiple projects.
C. Business Development Support (10%) Support the growth of Integrity’s MENA portfolio through targeted business development opportunities, writing project summaries, think pieces and commentaries, compiling team sheets and relevant track records and designing MENA country pages for the website.
D. Resource Management Support (10%)
Support Integrity’s Deputy Director of Operations in managing resources and competing resource demand to ensure critical resources are available for Integrity’s service line projects in the MENA region:
- Maintain accurate records for staff and consultant movements in the region.
- Map active projects, define key dates and monitor human resource distribution across the projects.
- Provide administrative and briefing support to staff and consultant deployments.
- Facilitate the monthly cash request for all of MENA (Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan). Liaise between HQ, Turkey, Lebanon; compile information, feed up to Finance Manager in HQ to arrange cash payment and liaise with Operations Officer and Operations and Finance Manager MENA to distribute cash.

Education and Experience:
The candidate will have:
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with an international organisation Demonstrable understanding of the MENA region.
Languages:
- Written and oral fluency in English.
- Written and oral fluency in Arabic.
