Scope of work:
Ahead of upcoming recruitment for three major programmes in Syria, Integrity seeks to expand its network of professionals and consultants who are committed to our values of providing high quality technical services which contribute to change in Fragile and Conflict Affected Environments.
We are looking to strengthen and expand our reliable network of research and analysis (R&A) professionals of various levels of seniority and experience who are both detail-oriented and committed to teamwork.
Applications, selections and interviews will be ongoing, based on candidates’ profiles as well as profiles required for bids and projects. Incumbents will be based in Lebanon or Turkey with an estimated 20% of business-related travel. They will report to services managers, consultants and senior managers located in the region.
As Integrity’s MENA work mainly focuses on the Syria regional crisis, we are particularly interested in applicants who are fluent in Levantine Arabic, have current understanding of the crisis and have networks both in Syria and in the wider region.
Terms of Reference:
Incumbents need to be able to design research methodologies, design research questions, seek feedback from others in a project team, train researchers and/or field personnel on the research tools, oversee a data collection process and draft timely, high-quality research findings and analytical reports.
Depending on the nature of each project, research questions may relate to needs assessment, surveys, stakeholder analysis, capacity assessments of local partners or recommendations for programming.
At the Researcher level, candidates may be eligible with less than 2 years of experience provided that they speak Arabic fluently and have networks in Syria.
At the Research Manager level, candidates need to demonstrate prior background in quantitative and/or qualitative research tools, ability to manage research teams, hire and train researchers and field personnel, document lessons and disseminate knowledge, produce high-quality analytical reporting. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to work both in English and Arabic.
Languages:
- Written and oral fluency in English and Arabic is required.
